Like obviously yes. Not sure what was so open about this question. I actually learned a lot while doing this paper (and also somehow submitted it with a bunch of typos?) Anywho, I am really enjoying looking back at these because they both demonstrate my skills as a writer and researcher at the time (fairly weak) and now that I know more about religion and women after taking Women Writers I in the winter of 2024, I can contest this paper because I now know of the many ways religion benefited women writers and has preserved some of the earliest recorded women’s writings. Of course, that doesn’t save them from the patriarchy and misogyny that they have widely spewed, but it’s not as bad as I originally thought it was back when I wrote this paper. So, a bonus I guess.
